Upon acceptance, a contract for exhibition must be filled out (Link
to form below). The Taube Museum will need the following at least two
months prior to the exhibit: Updated artist biography, artist
statement, a typed copy of an actual image inventory sheet (link below)
listing title, size, media, price or value if not for sale and 3-5 high
quality digital images (pdf, jpeg, png) for publicity. Packing,
shipping and insurance costs to and from the exhibition site will be
incurred by the exhibitor. Artwork must be ready to install, suitably
wired and framed. If presentation is not suitable, the Taube Museum of
Art will refurbish artwork at the exhibitor’s expense. Artwork included
in the exhibition must not differ stylistically from the proposed
images used for the selection process.
Appropriate shipping crates
and packing materials must be used. Crates must fit through a standard
door, no more than 28” wide and weigh less than 100 pounds. If shipping
materials are not suitable, the Taube Museum of Art will replace them
at the exhibitor’s expense. The Taube Museum of Art will provide onsite
insurance, publcity, a public reception, installation, and an
opportunity for sales. The standard Taube Museum of Art commision is
30% for organizations members, and 40% for non-members.
